Asthma & COPD Clinic

Held by: Practice Nurses & Healthcare Assistants during surgery opening times. Please phone the surgery to make an appointment.

Cardiovascular Clinic

Held by: Practice Nurse, & Healthcare Assistants within surgery hours. These are for patients who are at risk of suffering from high blood pressure and Heart Disease.

Minor Surgery

Held by: Doctors within surgery hours.   Joint injections. Please contact the practice as you will need to discuss this with a Doctor.

Child Immunisations

Held by: Nurses within surgery hours. Immunisations are available at the surgery during normal surgery hours and are administered by our practice nurses. Please ensure you bring your child’s health record book to all appointments.

Well-Woman Clinic

Held by: Doctors and Nurses within surgery hours. Patients can see any of the practice nurses for contraceptive advice. Contraceptive advice and services are available from any of the doctors. It is recommended that all women between the ages of 25-49 should have a cervical smear performed every 3 years, those ages 50-64 every 5 years.

Family Planning

We provide a full range of family planning services including coils; caps and implanon. Please ask at reception for an appointment (which will be subject to availability at the time, given current pressures and demands on the Practice).

Health checks

A general health check are available as follows:

NHS Health check

  • aged 40-74 (no other conditions, every 5 years)
  • Well Woman
  • Well Man
  • aged 75 and over (who has not seen a GP in the last year)

General checks will be carried out as follows:

Blood pressure, blood tests (as appropriate), Height and Weight, Lifestyle advice, Tetanus status.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
